are there any hair stylists out there, that can help me choose a hair style? I am 67, blond hair, 5`5';, 145 lbs. I want a stylish cut, without trying to look like a teenager. I like to have a side bang, but other than that, I don`t know. I have a diamond shaped face. I have been wearing my hair with a cut out ear, etc I am hoping you guys out there can give me several ideas, as I guess I am getting tired of my regular cut. Go to the salon, and ask for a side swept bang, with a slight flip out at the back. Have them introduce some choppy layers up top and in the back, and more wispy layers as they get nearer to your face. Meanwhile, ask them to give you a blow out. Curled hair just doesn't look right. And, of course, remember Ms Exeter's (divine expert at Vogue) advice for women over 50: avoid long hair; it makes the whole face seem more saggy and droopy. So long as you're not asking the hair stylist to experiment, you should be fine.





Oh! And if you're scared to try a drastic new cut, consider getting your hair highlighted. Sometimes it's fun just to mix it up a bit with colours, which can add the illusion of different textures in your current cut, or accentuate the ones that you already have. I would say definetely long hair. But it also depends on you face shape....If you have a small and round face then short would be better and if you have a long and oval shaped face then long and straight would look better.

I find Victoria and Colleen have beautiful hair, its thick, luxurious and nice brunette colour especially when it is dark. And they look great in curls. I think Colleen should cut her hair about shoulder length, give her some stylish bangs and have big curls I think she would look great with curly short-medium hair .

Sharon is very nice but her hairstyles don't do her justice lately. I remember when Cassie was alive and she and Nick were married, she had some awesome hairstyles and her clothes were impeccable.


Colleen, Victoria and Heather do have full heads of hair that looks gorgeous when flowing. Other than Lily occasionally and Chloe sometimes, I find hair styles lacking. Mrs C, Jill and Nikki's hair is also worth watching.

I wish it would. I love the 40's. But right now everyone is going 80's with the leggings, over-sized shirts and neon colors. Maybe it will come back in a few more seasons but not right now.

I think it may be stress related, I was trying to lose weight using Meridia and while I was dropping the pounds I was also losing my hair. My once, thick curly head of hair is now about 1/3 of what it used to be. It feels so thin and wispy, I'm very self conscious about it.





I鈥檝e stopped taking the Meridia and I'm eating better. I'm considering trying Nioxin to help re-grow my lost hair but in the mean time I look horrible and hate coming to work each day. It鈥檚 shoulder length now and clips/baretts don't work (not enough hair to hold them in).

Find a wide tooth comb and use CVS Detangler spray in. Right now I am using a Loreal Paris New Peal Protein Complex Vive Pro. (hot pink conditioner) as a leave-in conditioner, about a spoonful or less. Its directions says to rinse out, I am doing fine as a leave in hair conditioner. Actually better than rinsing it out. I have beyond shoulder lenght hair.

well taking medicine probably wont help to much. maybe u can just leave it down until it begins to grow back. dont pick it up and pull it tight because the thinness will grow. some people also put in a few tracks just to make it look fuller so that your hair wont look wispy. u dont have to be black to wear fake hair. lol:)
use Mark Anthony Hair thickening shampoo and rinse, and get a short sexy razor cut- it will still feel thin, but will look thicker. Blow dry for volume.
Dont take any more medication. The Meridia caused your hair to fall off (and the pounds) because it tricks your body into believing that it has all the nutrients it needs when it really doesn't, which is probably why you were never really hungry. Don't take Nioxin, it will just cause another problem you'll have to fix. Instead, go get natural supplements like vitamin C that encourage healthy skin and hair. Use body shampoo, and experiment with you hair to see what looks good!
