Curly Hair+Haircut. HELP!?

Yeah, so i have long curly hair, and wanna go for the pixie look, or a bob or something. but it would look bad curly..help!Curly Hair+Haircut. HELP!?
What's going to make the WORLD of difference with whether you like or hate your haircut, is you have to figure exactly HOW MUCH TIME are you willing to set aside, each day, to ';doing'; your hair? If you're a wash-and-go type of person, and go for a bob, no offense, you're going to resemble a poodle. I'm just telling you like it is. IF you go for a bob length, you can use a blow dryer to straighten it with a rounded brush. Figure you'll need about 10-12 minutes to accomplish this every morning (I have curly hair in a bob, so I know!). If you go for a very short pixie kind of look, the curls will look kinda cute and not too poofy, you can leave them be OR blow dry for a sexy look, it's up to you. But, like I said, if you go for a bob, plan on spending ten minutes a day OR looking like a poodle. Of course, if you do it one day, you *might* get lucky depending on the weather, the next day you *could* wake up and it could still look pretty much how you had it the day before. IF you're lucky. Sometimes I wake up and my hair isn't ruined from the day before and I';m like, YEY! LOL

Good luck!Curly Hair+Haircut. HELP!?
You can get away with a pixie cut but I wouldn't suggest getting a bob. As you probably know, the shorter you go, the puffier your hair tends to look. I would stick with a medium cut and long layers. Play around with the color if you're tired of the same old look.

Best of luck.
I think a bob would be great! Try for something along these lines:

Just as long as you get long layers put in, your hair will look fine. I don't think it would look right as a pixie cut but as a bob it would probably look fine.
Cut your top layers short but keep the bottom layers long. My friend has extremely curly hair and has this style. It looks great.

I have similar hair. I get it cut shoulder length and in layers. My hairdresser doesn't cut the layers short though coz that would make it really puffy and frizzy. I have a side fringe (bangs) but its quite long so I can wear it curly or straight. And I wear a side parting, Don't think you can do alot more with that kind of hair unless you're gonna blow dry or straighten it every day then you could do lots of things.

    Hope that heps!xx

    Curly hair haircut question?

ok my hair is naturally curly and i wanna get my hair cut

my hair is a 3A like Nicole Kidman

i wanna get bangs but dont know which would look better

and i was thinking of layers too

please help me choose a haircut that will suit me and bangs

fyi - i have never been to a hair salon , my father has always cut my ends

oh and also about how much will it cost me for the cut?

please help meCurly hair haircut question?
Layers are good because curly hair can be really poofy. Ask for subtle layers though, because sometimes hairdressers go overboard.

Also, ask for a bit longer than you want because it will dry shorter!

It could cost anywhere from $20-$50, depending on how experienced your haircutter is.

Bangs are cute if you straighten them every day. Curly bangs are sort of kinky in a bad way.

It's important to see someone who really knows how to work with curly hair. Most stylists don't get any training with curly hair in beauty school.
Ok well it all depends on how much curls you have.

If you have VERY curly hair I wouldn't suggest getting it cut shorter

because the shorter your hair the puffier/thicker,,it stands up more.

Now if I was you, What I would do is get it thinned out. That way it

won't stand up as much. Also I wouldn't get it cut too short Cause its gonna look like a giant hairball.

    Now bangs,

If you would like bangs I would say get a hair straightner.

If you don't straighten it, Its gonna look like a 80s hair.

But I suggest maybe some side bangs. Then you can straighten them.

And leave the rest of the hair curly which would looks soo cute! =]

    Layers,,

Layers wouldn't be a bad idea but remember not too short!

Instead of layers just get it thinned out.

If you get layers it might stand out some more.

    The cost,,

It all depends on where you go.

The cost might be from 10-30$

    I hope I helped =]

    I have a long face & curly hair...Haircut?

So yeah, my hair is long/ovalish and curly so I can't permit myself to have drastically short hair. I want to keep my lenght which is 2-3 inches below my shoulder. I guess you could say my bangs are side-swepted to the left side, but when it gets humid, it creats a curl. And I don't want a fringe. Any ideas? I also straighten my hair often because I can't seem to ';fix'; my curly hair. I hate how it '; sticks out';I have a long face %26amp; curly hair...Haircut?
go and get some layers put in with will make it easier to straighten and why not use a serum to control your curls for a different look....I have a long face %26amp; curly hair...Haircut?
I would suggest face framing bangs, I would also suggest you speak to your hair dresser so that they can see the thickness of your hair and the condition your hair is in now. These things are important as straightening your hair can damage your hair and make it stick out due to breaking, what you may need is a moisturizer. Again, I would suggest you speak to a hair dresser to see if they have any suggestions.

    Much Luck!
I use the Sunsilk products in the blue bottle. They work really well on my curly hair, which used to ';stick out.'; I think you should maybe cut your hair to shoulder length and get layers. If you don't want bangs, just pin them back until they're long enough to blend in with the rest of your hair.

    HELP...Curly hair haircut ?

I need a new hair cut and i was thinking of getting side swept bangs, do u think that would work. Please give me any other suggest u might have.HELP...Curly hair haircut ?
That would look pretty. But since you have curly hair, do not cut your hair so short because it's going to take you ages to grow out your hair. So if you want to cut your hair in layers or something, ask for short layers as in layers 1 inch or 2 inch apart instead of 5 to 6 inches. About 1 1/2 year ago I cut my hair and it has yet to grow because I made the mistake to cut it too short. So don't make the same mistake I made, 'cause know everyday I see my hair, I wish I had not cut it at all. Plus I was told that curly hair is not supposed to be cut in layers, but should be kept at the same length.HELP...Curly hair haircut ?
YEAH SURE IF U WANT A NEW LOOK...
If you are very good at straightening your hair and when you straighten it your hair isn't poofy then go right ahead, it may be a hassle though because you would have to straighten your bangs every day and that would do a lot of damage. I have been in the same situation as you and I opted not to get the sideswept bangs, but if you really feel you want them then do what you want.
I have curly hair and tried bangs...not good. I would try to dry them straight but they would always get curly and were always out of control. I live in FL where it is very humid though. They might work for you if you are in a different climate, but I would go longer rather than shorter to start off. That way you can kind of control them.
it depends what kind of hair do you have

    Stright - get layers

curly- curl more! It looks cute that way! : )
you would need to straighten your bangs, but that would be fine. ;)
