Hair styels or cuts for curly hair?

ok so i have wavy/curly hair. i usually just pull it back because my hair is thick and some days just to horrid to mess with.lately ive been just pulling up the top layer and leaving the bottom down.but every one says i look like a clone of my mom.and my mom usually dose her hair like that.so i need new hair styles,styling gels creams spray(etc.),cuts. my hair is a very dark brown i have dark brown eyes an olive skin tone

and a heart shaped face.my hair is shoulder length.i have squarish glasses that r Purple and black too. a pic would be appreciated too.Straight Style are also goo because im getting a new flat Iron soon.Hair styels or cuts for curly hair?
i have naturally thick and curly hair as well a good way to get it cut is get it thinned out and lots of layers cos then it doesnt look so buffy and a good way to were it is to just pull a little bit of hair from the front a pin it back a a pony tail to the side at the bottom of your head looks niceHair styels or cuts for curly hair?

I suggest you get a hairstyle like this, but just a shorter version. I think it would look really nice. I hope this helps!
