I have really thin hair, its not thinning its naturally straight and thin. I dont know what to do with it, it looks like straggly and ugly. Its down to my chest right now. I have larger breasts so it looks short in the front but longer in the back. Its brown with blonde highlights right now.. should I cut it short? If so how short? Should I let it grow? Will it look good? I want it to look thicker and fuller but I dont know how... I also have side bangs and they just hang there, I want them to look thick and full too.
Any suggestions will help a lot!! ThanksHair style for thin hair?
use volumising shampoo / volumising spray .... blow dry your hair after you wash it ... use hair rollersHair style for thin hair?
use volumizing shampoo. take care of it better and you'll get your hair thicker. only shampoo and condition every other day. use shampoo on top of your head only, not on the ends. condition your whole hair and let it soak in a few minutes. deep condition (use a hair mask) once a week. you can get one for like 5 dollars. nuetrogena triple moist is what i use. on the days you dont shampoo and condition (every other day) just rinse your hair really well. only comb your hair when it's wet, never brush wet hair. next time you get your hair cut or trimmed, ask for layers to make your hair thicker, they should know what you mean. don't get choppy layers, they look horrid on thin hair.
You need to work with what you got. I'm happy you have realized that your hair is NOT thinning, it IS just straight and thin. I think your length is great. (longer than that though or it may appear more limp than it already is)
Try different styling options before you even think of cutting your length. There is a company called RAINCRY that has some amazing brushes. One imparticular, a Magnesium Curling Series brush that is good for creating volume and fullness in even the finest baby soft hair. Check out this site: www.raincry.com
You should get it cut short about where you shoulders should start . Then , get it curly or wavy and add a few peices of blonde highlights. Hope it helps !
