I think it may be stress related, I was trying to lose weight using Meridia and while I was dropping the pounds I was also losing my hair. My once, thick curly head of hair is now about 1/3 of what it used to be. It feels so thin and wispy, I'm very self conscious about it.
I鈥檝e stopped taking the Meridia and I'm eating better. I'm considering trying Nioxin to help re-grow my lost hair but in the mean time I look horrible and hate coming to work each day. It鈥檚 shoulder length now and clips/baretts don't work (not enough hair to hold them in).
Has anyone lost their hair (or worked with people that have) and have a suggestion of how to style/cut?What is the Best hair style for women losing hair?
I've lost a lot of hair and the hairstyle that works for me is a shag. I let it dry naturally and don't use any styling products - just scrunch it with my hands a little while it's wet. What is the Best hair style for women losing hair?
You should see a licensed physician to see what the real problem could be!
I have seen some women like flip the hair over the more balding areas. I guess they use mousse or gel of some kind.
If I wer you I would not even perm or color the hair that is left. Probably all ready weak and fragile.
Find a wide tooth comb and use CVS Detangler spray in. Right now I am using a Loreal Paris New Peal Protein Complex Vive Pro. (hot pink conditioner) as a leave-in conditioner, about a spoonful or less. Its directions says to rinse out, I am doing fine as a leave in hair conditioner. Actually better than rinsing it out. I have beyond shoulder lenght hair.
My hair is thinning out due ot a medication.
to add more volume jes go for extentions or weaves!!!!!!!
keep it short to thicken it.
well taking medicine probably wont help to much. maybe u can just leave it down until it begins to grow back. dont pick it up and pull it tight because the thinness will grow. some people also put in a few tracks just to make it look fuller so that your hair wont look wispy. u dont have to be black to wear fake hair. lol:)
use Mark Anthony Hair thickening shampoo and rinse, and get a short sexy razor cut- it will still feel thin, but will look thicker. Blow dry for volume.
Dont take any more medication. The Meridia caused your hair to fall off (and the pounds) because it tricks your body into believing that it has all the nutrients it needs when it really doesn't, which is probably why you were never really hungry. Don't take Nioxin, it will just cause another problem you'll have to fix. Instead, go get natural supplements like vitamin C that encourage healthy skin and hair. Use body shampoo, and experiment with you hair to see what looks good!
the fresh summer look cut like boyish but femine good luck lol
