Different hair cut for curly hair?

i am so bored with my hair. it is naturally curly and has a few layers and when i straighten it its a little longer than shoulder length.i used to have sidebangs but i tried to cut them myself and now it looks like i have a mullet ; ). when my bangs grow out i would like to get side bangs again but i also want a cool cut. i would like it to be short enough so it just fits in a ponytail so i have an excuse for not styling it ; ) or would that be to hard for me to straighten i also want parts of my hair to hang down when its in a ponytail. thnx!Different hair cut for curly hair?
I also have naturally curly hair. I keep mine just below my shoulder and with layers that start just below my ears. I keep my hair kind of rounded so that it shapes around my face. I don't really like having bangs to the shortest my hair is is around my ears. I mostly like this style becaue it shapes around my face.
