What's a great hair style to kick off the new year?

I need a new fun flirty hair style because im a little bored of my current one. I have long side bangs and my hair is a few inches past my shoulders. My hair is thick, wavy, and dirty blonde. If you have any ideas, id really appreciate them! Thx!What's a great hair style to kick off the new year?

The majority of teen girl styles is long hair. Generally the layered look and straight. However, short hair is becoming more popular with teen girls if they love to be different and the 'long shag' is back in, as well as the pixie look, plus the spiked look. I'm much older and have my blonde streaks in brunette hair, but have my hair short and slightly spiked look and have had many compliments on the style. I liked it on the younger girls and although not trying to look younger it suited my busy lifestyle and I can wet it, run mousse through it and blow dry it quickly and I'm outta here and the style always looks great.





Buy some hairstyle books. Look at some magazines with actors and see if something appeals to you. Go to a hair salon and go through their books as they are always up to style. Be aware that you choose a hairstyle that suits you.

On curly hair, twist hair loosely into a bun at the crown and allow wispy tendrils to fall at the sides. Give a light spritz of hairspray to keep in place.

Straighten your fringe, then flip your head down grad all your hair and put it up in a short ponytale. Then to flatten it down put a headband in place. And set out your fringe.

Keep your hair messy in the morning. Then do a small plat going upwards. Pin it down with bobby pins. Then put your hair into a low side ponytail.

This look is all about volume, and there is no height restriction. Backcomb the front section with a comb, and then spritz into the roots. Next gently comb smooth to hide the birds-nest effect and clip back. Gather the rest into a low side ponytail. Wear with lots if attitude! Or You could curl your hair and put it as a side ponytail.

Why not go for a totally different look? Think Victoria Beckham's signature cheek-grazing in the front, cropped up in the back. It's fairly easy to take care of and would look super cute with a little bounce in your hair.





You might want to consider going with a darker hue for a bigger change, as well. Depending on your eye color (if they're warm, go with a warm color; if they're cool, with a cool color), I would go darker than dirty blonde.
