Ive got a few questions about some popular hair trends that I can't seem to get right. Please answer whichever one(s) you can.
1. Beach hair- what is the best product to use to get the ';beach'; look? I've heard good things about Curl Up but I wanted some other options just in case that one doesnt work.
2. The bump- I LOVEthis look! But I can't seem to get it right! Short of buying that thing on tv to put in my hair to make the bump I don't know what to do! Please tell me the best way to get the bump and have it stay. Mine tend to cave in LOL.
3. Volume in the back- I like to flat iron my hair but I don't like how it just lays there.how do I make it look fuller in the back on the top of my head? Is there a product I should be using or what?
Thanks in advance!!Question about 3 popular hair styles?
1. I like the sunsilk WAVES OF ENVY line. the curl gel and curl spray works really well for the beach look, and it's pretty affordable. For the extra touch on the beach look,i also recommend a few touch up curls with a 1 1/4 inch curling iron.
2. THe bump: You need to tease your hair. Grab the crown section of your hair and clip it up into sections Grab the bottom layer and then spray the bottom of the hair with hairspray at the root and comb up (from the mid section of hair down to the root NOT THE END). THis will create tangles at the rooots givng you a bump. Repeat for remaining layers. This is a great tutorial on teasing:

3. The trick to volume with straight hair is to blowdry your hair before you curl it. Apply 2-3 palmfuls of mousse into DAMP hair and blowdry your hair with a flat brush. Then clip your hair into sections and then straighten your hair. When you straighten your hair around the root area, pull up then pull down when you reach the ends., If you pull down on the roots, you get flat roots=flat hair.Question about 3 popular hair styles?
1. Any curling product will work really,
Garnier fructis curls %26amp; shine is a good one, they also make a great mousse
2. Best way to make your bumo stay is to blow-dry your bangs till they are sort of dry, but not quite, hairspray them, and bobby pin the in place.
3. when you flat iron your hair, when you get to the top of your head, instead of pulling the straightener down, pull it up, it should give you a lift, and hair spray into place.
2.
i don't know if you tried teasing your hair
but you can try that.
it works best for me!
if you have really thin hair,
its gonna be a little more difficult for you.
teasing always works the best for me!
for the bump
just bobby pin with 2 pins and hairspray it
it lasts all day
1. Beyond me, sorry - see below or try a magazine's website, they have lots of ideas.
2. I take a front section of hair (like I'm going to make a half ponytail) and backcomb/tease it, and then push it forward (creating the ';pouf'; as my friends call it as they make fun of me) and secure it with two clippies (the snappy/rounded metal kind) near the crown of the head. you can leave it in this half-up position, or pull a ponytail up behind it.
3. Use a volumizing mousse (apply a golf-ball sized amount to wet hair and comb through before blow-drying) and blow-dry hair in the opposite direction of where it will fall (for the back of your head, bend forward to turn head upside down, and when roots are dry use the cool shot button to set them.) When you flip your head right side up again your hair will be nice and BIG and you can finish styling. If you use a product like mousse it's likely you won't even need to flat iron (unless your hair is on the coarse side).
Hope this helps!
1. Bleach is the same in every product they just try to make it look better than it is. i would just go to a saloon like sallys or something and get some from there%26lt;brand names don't matter%26gt;
2.step1. pull the bangs up with your hands and brush it out
step2.twist the bangs back and give them a push forward
step3 bobby pin in place http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7r0WyNGELQ%26amp;feature=related
3. if you want REAL volume get big sexy hair root lifter just flip your hair upside down a spray it on your roots then when you flip back ruffle it up on top and style it your normal way also moving your part forward like this will help.http://media.photobucket.com/image/prislac/paigeblue10/l_3027396841a84dbb97c85020ebc2b7bb.jpg?o=0
