Prom Hair Styles??

I have really thick dark brown hair. I wanna do it up for prom but because its so thick when i try to do a bun or something with my hair up its so big that it looks ridiculous. Do you know anyways i could do my hair so it won't looks so big? any tips or websites?Prom Hair Styles??
If ur hair is thick u should thin it out and perhaps razor it. I had thick puffy hair but i got it thinned out and it worked out great for me. Makes it more manageable to achieve what one wants. Or u could go to the salon and ask them there more likely they will suggest the same.Prom Hair Styles??
