The most popular hairstyle for 2009 would have to be the choppy, layered, short to long haircut. This has been in style for quite a while no,but it's transferring into 2009 trends too. Another trendy hairstyle for 2009 is the BOB. The BOB haircut at any length. The BOB is back and here for good. The bob on short length, the bob on medium length, or the bob on long length. Overall the BOB is back. Fringed bangs, side bangs/ fringe, and curved straight across bangs are also in style. For color, you should stay natural. Highlights and big standout, blond streaks are not in anymore, unless it is a natural undertone highlight color.On a side not though, just because these are the hairstyles that are in, doesn't mean that you should get it because if you don't have this hairstyle you would not be trendy. You can always be trendy and in style in other ways. Only certain people can pull these kinds of haircuts off, so don't go and get a new haircut every time a new trend or style is out. I;m just telling you this because back then I would do this all the time, and I very much regret it. I'm just trying to help out.
