You shouldn't have a straight bob because the curls will just stack against each other and basically give you a curly fro. Depending on your texture you may want to try some kind of anti-frizz creme; I have medium length, thick, fairly coarse curls and I like Frizz-ease and John Frieda products. I use Infusium shampoo and condition to wash my hair and I like to alternate the Infusium 3 minute leave in treatment/conditioner at least once a week. I use a flat iron regularly, but on the days I want to be natural (like today) I just wash and go and my hair looks just as good because of my layers.

I would definitely grow out your hair. I think girls that have super long curly hair make a lot of girls envious. Plus you said you don't flat iron your hair that just means your hair would look even better longer cause it'd be really healthy. Hoped this helped (:
