Bad cut for curly hair. What are your thoughts? (see details)?

I need some serious hair help.

I have thick curly hair, and i am currently seeking a cut that'll benefit my hair when it's STRAIGHT.

So when my hair is straightened it's BIG, not in the bad way, but i have a mass of hair.

It's similar looking to Ariel from the little mermaid, (AS FAR AS SIZE) =

if its what you want do it but be careful if you have a cba day and then you wont straighten it and you could end up as a big frizzy curly mess :(

layers helps hair look thinner, I have layers( and curly hair) and it does help with the ';big'; factor
the layer thing doesnt look like that everyday, like you might think it does. personally i like layers in straight hair, as long as the bottom of your hair isnt straight across (it should come to a point). it just wont look like that.
